Danny Edwards is an Assistant Special Agent in Charge in the US Secret Service’s Office of Protective Operations. ASAIC Edwards began his law enforcement career as a student worker with the campus police while attending Mississippi State in 1997. In 1998, Danny was hired as police officer with the Mississippi State University Police Dept, where he worked until 2003 before transferring back to his hometown police department in Hernando, MS. Danny became a Special Agent with the US Secret Service in 2005, and has since completed investigative and protective assignments in the Memphis Field Office, the Dignitary Protection Division, the Vice-Presidential Protective Division, and the Office of Staffing and Logistics, before most recently being promoted to an ASAIC position within the Office of Protective Operations. Danny lives in Edgewater, MD and enjoys boating, barbecuing, and spending time with his lovely wife Lisa, who is also an ASAIC in the US Secret Service.
