
The MSU Legal Issues Conference will take place December 3-5, 2025. Registration is now live and all conference links are located at the top of this page. We will also host a NASPA Region III - Mississippi Drive-in Conference on December 3rd from noon until 4:30 p.m. Details will be available soon.
Our keynote speakers for the Legal Issues Conference will be Peter Lake, JD, Professor of Law, Charles A. Dana Chair and Director, Center for Excellence in Higher Education Law and Policy, Stetson University College of Law and John Wesley Lowery, Ph.D., Professor of Student Affairs in Higher Education, University College, Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
This year we will hear from experts on a variety of topics, including:

This conference will be valuable for all levels of university practitioners, from senior Student Affairs professionals to conduct officers and counselors, housing professionals, general counsel, and academic administrators. The entire conference will be held in the Mississippi State University Colvard Student Union, wrapping up around lunchtime on Friday, December 5.
