Brian S. Locke

Assistant Chief Brian S. Locke, Lieutenant Colonel (Retired), U.S. Army, is a distinguished leader with more than 30 years of combined service in military, law enforcement, and corrections. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Middle Tennessee State University as a Distinguished Military Graduate and a master’s degree in Counseling and Development from Long Island University. Twice awarded the Bronze Star Medal, he has commanded specialized units in policing, corrections, counterterrorism, and emergency response across Europe, the Middle East, and the United States. A graduate of the FBI National Academy and member of the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force, Locke is widely recognized for his expertise and proven leadership in law enforcement, corrections, emergency management, and public safety.
