Jessie Lewis

Jessie Lewis, LMSW, serves as the Associate Director of Care & Concern in the Mississippi State University Dean of Students Office, where she leads case management and care coordination efforts for students of concern. Her work focuses on responding to complex mental health, academic, and personal challenges while partnering with students, families, faculty, and campus partners to assess concerns, coordinate interventions, and support student well-being and success.

Prior to joining the Dean of Students Office, Lewis served as an embedded counselor for Mississippi State's College of Art, Architecture, and Design and as a triage coordinator within Student Counseling Services. Her professional experience also includes youth and family therapy, substance use treatment, and services for aging and disabled populations.

Lewis earned her Bachelor of Social Work from Mississippi State University and her Master of Social Work from The University of Alabama. She is a Licensed Master Social Worker and Board-Certified Telemental Health Provider and is currently pursuing licensure as a Clinical Social Worker.
