Lindsay is one of the Deputy Attorney Generals for the State of Mississippi. She oversees the Public Integrity, Cyber Crime, Criminal Investigations, Criminal Appeals, Medicaid Fraud Control Unit and Children’s Justice Divisions. In addition to her position as Deputy Attorney General, Lindsay is currently a member of the Board on Law Enforcement Officer Standards and Training (BLEOST) as well as a member of the Criminal Justice Oversight Task Force. She is a regular instructor for the Mississippi Law Enforcement Officer Training Academy (MLEOTA), the Mississippi Judicial College and the Mississippi Prosecutors Association, teaching on the topics of cybercrime, Fourth Amendment law, digital evidence and human trafficking.
Lindsay previously served as the Director of the Public Integrity Division and as a Special Assistant Attorney General in the Cyber Crime Division. During her law career, Lindsay has served in the capacity of both prosecutor and public defender, including as Chief Public Defender of the Pearl River County Public Defender’s Office, one of the few full-time public defense offices in the State of Mississippi, and as an Assistant District Attorney in the Fifteenth Circuit Court District.
Lindsay received her B.A. in English from the University of Southern Mississippi and her J.D. from the University of Mississippi School of Law. Lindsay’s husband, Clay, is also a career prosecutor. She has two daughters.
