In 2023, after retiring from the United States Secret Service, Shawn J. Wolfe was appointed as the Cyber Crime Director at the Mississippi Attorney General’s Office.  Wolfe oversees a division consisting of investigators, digital forensic examiners, and administrative staff.  The Attorney General's Office is the host agency for the state's Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, comprised of more than 80 law enforcement agencies and 130 law enforcement personnel from across the state to address threats to Mississippi's children.  The Cyber Crime Division is also host to the Mississippi Cyber Fraud Task Force, a partnership with the U.S. Secret Service.   One of more than 40 domestic and international Cyber Fraud Task Force locations established to investigate complex cyber-enabled financial crimes.

Mr. Wolfe began his Secret Service career in April 1999 as a Special Agent in the Miami Field Office.  There he investigated financial crimes and served as the agency’s representative to the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force.  In 2005, Mr. Wolfe was transferred to the Presidential Protective Division where he served under President George W. Bush and President Barack Obama.  In 2010, Mr. Wolfe was selected for a congressional fellowship on the House Homeland Security Appropriations Subcommittee.  In 2016, he was promoted to Assistant Special Agent in Charge of the Congressional Affairs Division.  As a collateral assignment during the Presidential Campaign of 2016, he served as a shift leader for Vice Presidential Candidate Michael Pence’s protective detail.  In 2017, Mr. Wolfe was promoted to Resident Agent in Charge (RAIC) of the Secret Service Jackson Resident Office, in Jackson, Mississippi.  As the RAIC of the Jackson Resident Office, Mr. Wolfe oversaw all the budgetary, investigation and protective operations in the Jackson district which covers the state of Mississippi. 

Mr. Wolfe received both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science from Florida State University in Criminology.
