- Dean of Student Services
Dr. TJ Walker serves as the Dean of Student Services for the Raymond Campus at Hinds Community College. In this role, he provides leadership for core student services including student conduct, campus housing, and student recreation. He brings extensive leadership experience from his previous roles as District Dean of Student Services at Northwest Mississippi Community College and a program director at Mississippi State University. Dr. Walker holds a Doctorate in Higher Education from the University of Mississippi, along with a master's degree from Belhaven University and a bachelor's degree from Mississippi State University. As a first-generation college student, he is intimately familiar with the unique path of many students and is dedicated to fostering an environment where all students are empowered to achieve success.
